The East Derry Volunteer Fire Company is one of three fire companies located in Derry Township, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. We are dispatched by the Mifflin County 911 Center as Company 2. The other two Township Companies are Highland Park Hose, Mifflin County Company 4 and Yeagertown Fire Company, Mifflin County Company 3.

We provide services to the Eastern portion of Derry Township and are on automatic aid to portions of Highland Parks first due area. We are also on automatic aid to Decatur Township Fire Company, Mifflin County Company 5. We are also dispatched on automatic aid to Burnham Borough to assist the Burnham Fire Company (Mifflin County Company 1) on reported structure fires. 

Our Company is also part of a County wide Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) which is comprised of our station, Brooklyn Hose Company, (Mifflin County Company 13) and West Granville Fire Company, (Mifflin County Company 17). We are automatically dispatched on some county box alarms and special requested on others. The team is known as RIT 32 we arrived at this call sign by adding the company numbers of the three stations together.

We also provide breathing air to fire companies in Mifflin County and neighboring counties when requested. This service is made possible using a Scott Aviation Liberty II Mobile Air Compressor.
