Joining the firehouse Print this page The East Derry Volunteer Fire Company is always looking for new members to join our company or previous members that want to rejoin our crew. The fire company is located just of 522 N 1 ½ miles from the Lewistown Borough line or 2 blocks before Kish Vet on the left hand side of the road coming from Lewistown or 2 blocks past Kish Vet coming from McClure on the right side of the road.
There are many different parts that make our fire company work.
Administrative, Fire Protection and Associate membership
Some of the things that go on around the station is Company Meeting the First Monday of the month. Company Drill/Training on the third Monday of the month, Equipment checks, Family gatherings, and Company picnics. We try to be as much family oriented as possible by having events that involve the family.
East Derry Volunteer Fire Company is proud to have a group of township officials that back the fire company, in the fact that we concentrate our time on the fire protection aspect and not on fundraising.
